Our Mandate
Tourism involves people traveling to and staying in places outside their usual surroundings for up to one year, whether for leisure, business, or other reasons. The Western Cape attracts tourists from around the globe with its breathtaking landscapes, vibrant cities and towns, world-class food and wine, and exciting adventure activities, along with rich cultural and heritage experiences.
We are committed to promoting the Western Cape's diverse activities and attractions, ensuring that both local and international visitors experience the best the region has to offer. Our mandate is to implement a tourism strategy that encourages steady growth and job creation in the industry. Through collaboration, we aim to build a thriving sector that supports local communities and strengthens the economy.
