The Citrusdal WCG eCentre assists local people to communicate more effectively with government and communities around the world by providing access to e-mail, internet and various government services.
Staff members at the Citrusdal WCG eCentre provide friendly assistance to all community members, making computer access, internet use and a solid understanding of information communication technology (ICT) an everyday reality in this remote town.
Citrusdal is a rural village situated around two hours' drive from Cape Town, on the N7 towards Namibia. Citrusdal's local Thusong Service Centre is also home to the town's Cape Access WCG eCentre, where local residents can use computers and the internet for free, with basic ICT assistance at hand.
